Barangay Elections: Is It Reliable?

Barangay elections is so far the smallest election in the Philippines. This is the time when we are given the chance to choose the best people to lead us. By the way, barangay is the smallest unit in this country. There are so many barangays in the Philippines. But as far as I have observed, this election has become a way of buying some votes from the people. These politicians who are running for a postion are using their power and money in order to win. I hope that this will not continue.
