    Protection Agains Housing Discrimination

    Even in our modern days, home renters, lenders and builders still get treated with discrimination because of their race, color, physical disabilities, etc.

    To protect these consumers, two groups in Vermont were awarded funding to help enforce the Fair Housing Act. The two groups which has a heavy responsibility to help the consumers are the Vermont Legal Aid, Inc and the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. The first group is said to investigate housing complaints on discrimination while the other seeks to educate the housing industry.
